Client was charged in the Federal Court and if convicted, faced up to 20 years in prison. After client pleaded guilty, Attorney Kilroy presented mitigating evidence of client being threatened by the alleged victims and evidence of client’s repeated attempts to get help from police before committing his crime. Attorney Kilroy was able to convince the Court to sentence client to time-served and he was ordered released from custody after serving less than two years in jail.
