Criminal Lawyer Noah Kilroy Covered By The Providence Journal in Murder-For-Hire Case

Rhode Island Criminal Defense Attorney Noah Kilroy was hired to represent a Providence man accused of a murder for hire plot to kill two people over a business dispute. Client was charged in the Federal Court and if convicted, faced up to 20 years in prison. After client pleaded guilty, Attorney Kilroy presented mitigating evidence of client being threatened by the alleged victims and evidence of client’s repeated attempts to get help from police before committing his crime.  Attorney Kilroy was able to convince the Court to sentence client to time-served and he was ordered released from custody after serving less than two years in jail. The Providence Journal covered the case here: Providence Man Gets Time Served in Murder-For-Hire Plot.
