Newport Police Truck

Client is arrested by Newport Police in the Park Holm area for Assault on a Police Officer, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. If convicted, client could face up to a year in jail, probation and court costs. Newport Police, while on patrol, alleged to have smelt marijuana coming from client’s parked car. This prompted police to investigate further by ordering client out of her car and conducting a Terry Frisk. Police alleged that client became belligerent and aggressive with the police, even striking an officer in the arm. Client was subsequently arrested for the above offenses. Providence Lawyer Noah Kilroy gets all three charges dismissed against client. Attorney Kilroy subsequently ordered the destruction of any record of client’s arrest by filing a Motion to Seal Records.
